Art
In my paintings, light meets the energy of colour. For me, creating is about exploration, play and curiosity and trying new forms and materials.
My paintings grow intuitively without a fixed plan, leaving room for both spontaneity and play. I like to let the process lead me and simply follow the flow.
Inspiration
Early memories of the glassworks of Småland inspire my transparent world of colour.
I was always fascinated by the energy and the glowing, vibrant colours of molten glass, shaped through the wordless collaboration between glassworkers and designers, deep in the darkness of the spruce forests.
I experiment with acrylic paint, different materials and many layers to crate light, shimmer, depth and dimension in my paintings.
