            My Artistic journey

My art is deeply rooted in the summers I spent in Småland — a landscape of deep forests and a tradition of luminous glassworks. My grandfather was a crystal engraver, carving blossoms and prisms into glass.

I carry his sense of light and form with me, and his artistry still inspires me.

Losing my father early taught me to seek light within.

Painting became my way to do so. Layer by layer, stroke by stroke, I let the magic of nature, memory, and the shimmering glow of glass guide my hand, shaping both my life and my art.

The contrast between the dark spruce forests and the radiant colours of glass continues to inspire me. I am drawn to the beauty of Swedish nature — shifting skies, shimmering leaves, and the quiet reflections of water.

I didn’t know it then, but all this left a lasting imprint on how I see the world.

It is like looking through a prism of glass.

Now I live just outside Gothenburg, in a house where art is part of daily life. I paint in light-filled rooms, surrounded by a lush garden.

Early mornings with a cup of coffee among the flowers are some of my most cherished moments.

Through my paintings I hope to share this sense of wonder, light, and colour with you.

I also open my home to others, both through my art and through three guest spaces.

Welcoming people from all over the world has become a natural part of my life.

Welcome to step into my world
